Dinosaur DIY Terrarium for Kids

Dinosaur terrarium,If your kids LOVE dinosaurs as much as mine then I highly recommend making a dinosaur terrarium with them.

This activity is DOUBLE the FUN!  Best of all its a super simple  project that can be completed in about 10 minutes, and is perfect for a variety of ages.  First you get to go on a nature walk and forge for your greenery, once your home you get to create a super cool Dino habitat.

This can double as center piece and you can get creative and change it up with each outdoor adventure.  Alternatively you can change themes by adding some mini bugs or other toys depending your your child’s interests.

Summer Bucket List: Fun & Frugal Activities

Bucket listAh, summer. Sunny days, grilling out, and fireflies at dusk. Longer days and summer vacations also mean more downtime, play time, and hopefully more family time!

With festivals, concerts, and markets closed, and continued physical distancing due to Covid-19  initially I was  at a  loss for what to do this summer….but then I remembered my pre-Sweets tradition of creating a seasonal bucket list.  You can click the link here to see my 2015 summer bucket list.

Coming up with a physical bucket list is motivation (for me as a to-do-list lover) but also super handy when boredom strikes, and things need to be shaken up.
