Postnatal exerciseSince enjoying  Prenatal Yoga I was  interested in trying Mom and Baby Yoga.   Postnatal yoga is a great way for me to squeeze in stretching.  Lets face it,  getting out for a run is hard enough, coming home for a post run stretch is laughable.  For the last three months  I  have been taking  Mom and Baby Yoga at With Our Own Little Hearts Yoga  in Steveston, read on for my experience.

Moving- What Makes a House a Home?

profileWe had been renting a 1318ft2  three bedroom unit in a 4-plex for the last five years.  We were already bursting at the seams of our home before the arrival of our newest member, with the babies’ arrival it became just plain stressful.  With the Nursery in our living room sleep training was impossible. The windows were single pane making it stifling in the summers and FREEZING in the winter.  We shared laundry with three other families, leaving Sundays as our designated laundry day.  For a family of five none of this was ideal.

Steveston Beer Fest 2015

Saturday August 29, 2015 we attended the 3rd annual Steveston Beer Fest presented by O’Hare’s Gastropub and Liquor store. It was our first time attending this event, which was held at the historic Gulf of Georgia Cannery in Richmond, B.C. from 7pm-9:30pm. Tickets were $49 and included all you can drink and eat access to 40 craft beer and cider vendors, including free food samples from 10 local Steveston restaurants.
